MORE THAN JUST CYCLING
Activites
At Safari Simbaz, our programmes are designed to build more than just cyclists. We train minds, bodies and spirits — for success on the bike, and in life.

Mountain Biking
Riders train on rugged, off-road terrain, especially around our Naro Moru camp, which features Kenya’s first purpose-built mountain bike trails. Here, kids build confidence, balance, and endurance while exploring nature and learning to push past their limits.
Bike Mechanics
From fixing a flat to building a bike from scratch, our young riders learn to be self-reliant.
These are real-world skills. Some graduates go on to work as mechanics, open small workshops, or maintain fleets for tour companies. A well-kept bike is also key to safety, performance, and pride.

Safari Guiding & Leadership
At our Naro Moru location, some of the Simbaz are trained to lead bike tours for local and international guests. They learn navigation, hospitality, storytelling, and how to represent their country with pride. It’s more than a job. It’s a chance to grow into community leaders.
Fitness, Football & Volleyball
Staying active isn’t only about riding. At both our camps, we encourage football and volleyball as part of team building, physical fitness, and just having fun together.
Through sport, kids build strength, speed, coordination — and most importantly, friendships and self-confidence.

Road Cycling
Our most talented riders will join our Road Cycling Program. Here we have helped to create many strong riders that are winning races all over the country.
Trail Building & Nature Connection
Our riders aren’t just users of nature. They help build and maintain the trails they ride. They learn respect for the land, basic construction and planning, and how to care for Kenya’s natural beauty.
